Charles "Chuck" Roy Pearson, 51, of Lenexa, KS, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 in Kansas City, KS.

A funeral will be 10:00 AM Monday, August 26, 2019 at the Johnson Funeral Home 203 N. Washington Street in Junction City, KS. Reverend Steven Cousin will officiate.

There will be a repast following the service from 12:30pm to 3:00pm at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 203 E. 10th St., Junction City, KS 66441.

Charles was born April 3, 1968, in Friedberg, Germany the son of Joseph B. and Karin B. (Kolossa) Pearson.

Chuck graduated from Junction City High School with the class of 1987. After graduation, he joined the United States Army. He later retired from the United States Army as a Captain. He earned a BA Degree from DeVry University. He served as a police officer for the Baltimore Maryland Police Department. He was a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.

On February 7, 2000, he married Kesha Pearson in Clarksville, TN. They were later divorced.

Survivors include one son, Jordan D. Pearson of Tampa, FL; his father, Joseph B. Pearson, Jr. and his wife Tasha of Clarksville, VA; his mother, Karin B. Pearson and her partner John Abels both of Junction City, KS; two brothers, Joseph B. Pearson, III and his partner Melissa Estell both of Junction City, KS and Jurgen Plotz and his wife Birgit of Germany; six aunts, Helga Rydc and family, Maria Grant and her husband John, Gloria Royster and her husband Allen, Mary Pearson, Lydia Roberts and Henrietta McAllister; two uncles, Freeman Pearson and Vernell Marable and host of cousins, family and friends and his closest friend SGM Michael Berry and his wife Kenya of San Antonio, TX and two fur babies Tikki and Razell

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph B. Pearson, Annie S. Pearson, Elfriede Kolossa and Erich Kolossa and two aunts, Elsie Pearson and Martha Royster.
