The Moore Family is truly sorry for your loss and words can not express our feelings.
My wife and I were stationed in Ansbach Germany 1985-1988 when I first met Mrs. Gray and her husband SFC James L. Gray, my boss during that time. The Gray family always provide us with a kind word and set an everlasting example in the community. When my wife and I had our first child in April 1988, the Gray family gifted us a crib and baby items to make our transition into parenthood a little easier and we never forgot that act of kindness. May God Bless the Gray family!

I will never forget that when I was stressed or irritated I could walk in to her office and unload and by the time I would walk out, I would be laughing and sometimes there was a resolution to a problem. Being friends with her kids, and granddaughter I know what a loss this is. I will always think of you fondly, and love the person you were. Thanks for being an inspiration, and giving us all a little more wisdom. Love you Mrs. Gray!

To the Gray Family; For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens, 2 Cor 5:1. Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted Matt. 5:4.
In this unhappy hour, we’re reminded that Mrs Gray is gone but not forgotten especially with the memories of her wisdom and care for people. She always showed me and my wife love and compassion and concerned about us as we were going through and won our toughest fight from Cancer. She showed us her compassion and love of the words of Jesus; Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven Matt. 18:10.
O death where is thy sting O grave where is thy victory The sting of death is sin and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Cor 15:55-57.
So please let these words be of comfort to you, as they are true and faithful. We must console ourselves with the knowledge that. Mrs Gray know longer have to be wearied about the pain she occurred laying in the bosom of our Lord, in the presence of God’s Holy Angels. With our great and divine love for you all. I was deeply saddened by the loss of one of my best buddies. We were almost inseparable in high school. I think I spent more time at her house than I did at my own. Even though I haven't seen her in years, her friendship will always remain in my heart.
Rest in peace girlfriend. Love you always, Pamela Lee

I have so many memories of Mrs. Gray, I have struggled to pick just one. The scoldings I took and the kindness she always showed me afterwards. I loved this strong, beautiful woman like a mom!! My heart hurts that I will never get to see her face again. The occasional margarita (1 or 2) after work or the trying on a prom dress that once belong to a very flat chested daughter (sorry Janell)To making fun of James and I for protecting some bird eggs (they did hatch) and talking about the law we learned from watching Judge Judy...
She was my friend and mentor and I will carry her with me forever I'm my heart!!
My prayers to the whole Gray family.

Mr. Gray and Family,
I will truly miss her! She was an incredible, beautiful, intelligent, smart, down to earth "black woman", Michelle Obama or Oprah had "NOTHING" on her with the exception of "MONEY". To truly know "Deborah Ann Gray" was to love her! She obtained a position as a military's wife (And beyond) most women would only dream of, she was the "Chief of Supply and Services". She was a wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, auntie, and my friend! She never, showed favoritism towards anyone.
Mr. Gray, she was your "RIB"! Nothing else needs to be said, the “Bible” said it all! I will never forget when I asked her, “Ms. Gray, I saw a picture of you and a man in building 251, “Who is that man?” She laughed and said, “Sallie, That’s my Husband”. My prayers are with you.
James Jr., I know your soul plunged to its deepest depths. Of your body, all gravity left your body, explosion in your heart comparable of thunder went thru you! She knew you loved her! She spoke it and; I could grasp the love you required for your mother and she gave it to you, each day you worked at building 7920; arrival at work together, breaks, lunches, starting the car in the cold, driving to the door, so she didn’t have to walk far! She truly missed you! I know this because we talked, you were missed! It was an unbreakable bond! She was the epitome of a woman, what I comprehended and appreciated by her and I loved her for it! She was truly a SUPER WOMAN!
My heart has a great sentiment and emotions in it, I cannot describe! She was someone I truly admired that I cannot put into words; from the first time I met her.
When I first picked up my phone I thought something happen to Mr. Jackson! Just hearing Ms. Jackson voice made my heart skip a beat! I had to ask, "Who is this?" That phone call let me know! Ms. Gray was actually a part of my life as the rest of the government employees in "Supply and Services". We are a family! I 'LOVED' her!

Wowwww what can I say about Aunt Debbie. So many great memories, laughter. One particular memory that stands out is when we were small kids and uncle Peter would place all the girls on his handlebars and ride us very fast down the hillside and Aunt Debbie and Cotton-eye came out running saying boi you better not make Lisa fall off, Peter just as laughing and said I got her, my young and dumb self laughing as????well, within a few minutes he hit brakes and I fell directly in the pear tree. Aunt Debbie and uncle Cotton-eye laughed after the realized I hadn't broken any bones, just bruised up. Next evening Michelle, and I were back on laughing and enjoying the thrill.. ??????I realize it's not how or when we pass it's how we live our lives while we are here that brings us happiness.. GOD ONLY TAKES THE BEST.. RIEP AUNT DEBBIE. LOVE U, GONE BUT NEVER EVER FORGOTTEN, your niece LISA
