Roland Lee Glessner, 97, of Junction City, passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021 at Valley View Senior Life Center. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Welcome Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the organization of the donor's choice.

Roland was born October 30, 1923, in Junction City, KS the son of Walter and Mary Ann (Fiest) Glessner

Roland had been a farmer and rancher all of his life in Geary County. He owned several apartment buildings in Junction City and Oasis Car Wash on Grant Avenue.

He married Esta Wilma Schnieder in 1955.

Survivors include his wife Esta of Junction City; two sons, Marc Glessner of Junction City, KS and Grant Glessner of Alta Vista, KS; one step son, Philip Anderson of Junction City, KS; four grandchildren, Yesenia Anderson, Brandon Glessner, Kurtis Glessner and Cassie Glessner-Worrall; ten great-grandchildren, Trinity Murphy, Avia Glessner, Timothy Worrall, Cadie Glessner, Daniel Worrall, Mary Glessner, Walter Glessner, Waldo Glessner, Alexander Anderson and Malachi Anderson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Betty Diane Glessner-Hodgson.
