Duane Edward Langvardt, 83, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Friday, September 17, 2021 at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. A memorial mass will be held at 11 am., Thursday, September 30, 2021 at St. Xavier Catholic Church with Fr Gnanasekar Kulandi officiating. Prior to the mass, visitation with family will be from 9am to 10:30 am with rosary following at 10:30 am at St. Xavier Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.

He was born October 27, 1937, Junction City, KS to Lauretz Collins (AKA Jack and LC) and Gladys (Healy) Langvardt.

He married Judy K. Riffel September 21, 1957 she preceded him in death February 6, 2020.

Duane dedicated over 15 years at Subaru, Webster Groves as an automotive salesman. Duane never missed a chance to get Judy out on the dance floor. They enjoyed swing dancing and even met at a square dance. He had a great passion for sports and was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas State football and Kansas State Basketball. Duane enjoyed golfing, the shooting sports, and attending NASCAR races with Judy. Above everything, Duane loved his family and was always his grandchildren’s biggest supporter. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Duane is survived by his children, Dave Langvardt, Mike (Theresa) Langvardt, and Lisa (Scott) Winchell; his grandchildren, Jake (April) Winchell, Cassi (John) Kornfeld, Bailey (Erich) Straughn, Jamie (Travis) Green, and Brett Langvardt; his great-grandchildren, Austin, Olivia, Charlie, Ellie, Harper, Ryan, and Caroline; and his siblings, Larry Langvardt and Nancy (Tom) Cannon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lauretz and Gladys Langvardt; and his brother, Loren Langvardt and sister-in-law Jackie Langvardt.

Memorials may be made in Duane's name to St. Xavier Catholic Church, 218 N. Washington Street, Junction City, KS 66441.
