Ronald L. "Ron" Massey, 69, of Junction City, Kansas passed away on Monday, April 3, 2023 at Stormont-Vail Healthcare in Topeka, Kansas. Cremation will take place. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

Ron was born July 28, 1953, in Topeka, Kansas the son of Frederick Eugene and Delores Marie (Covington) Massey.

Ron attended schools in Topeka, Kansas. He worked for Union Pacific Railroad until his retirement. While working for the railroad, he was known as "Moose". He was a member of the Elks Lodge #1037 in Junction City, Kansas. He enjoyed fishing, cooking and traveling.

On April 3, 2004, he married Carol Bugai in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Survivors include his wife Carol of Junction City, Kansas; one son, David Massey and his wife Lacy of Scranton, Kansas; four daughters, Misty, Jamie, Dusty and Tina; three sisters, Debbie, Jeri and Linda; many grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
