Xavier L."Buster" Kiefer, 67, of Junction City, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Stormont Vail - Flint Hills Campus in Junction City, Kansas. Cremation will take place. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Johnson Funeral Home. Pastor Don Noah will officiate.

Xavier was born January 16, 1956 in Junction City, Kansas the son of Willis Clinton and Delia Rose (DeMars) Kiefer.

Xavier has lived in Junction City his entire life. He graduated from Junction City High School with the class of 1974. He attended a vocational school to learn how to paint cars. After working many years at local foundry and at Foot Locker in Junction City, he retired in 2019. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and was a leader for the Boy Scouts of America Troop #64.

He is survived by one son, Tyler Kiefer and his wife Becca of Omaha, Nebraska; one daughter, Ashley Kiefer and fiance Curtis Coates of Junction City, Kansas; one brother, Wayne Heller and his wife Roxie of Junction City, Kansas; one sister, Jenny Noah and husband Don of Olathe, Kansas; one granddaughter, Catherine Coates of Junction City, Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Catherine "Cathy" Kiefer; two brothers, Larry and Terry Heller; one sister, Debbie Yelton.
