Funeral Services for Beulah Mae Bolen, 73, of Junction City will be Monday, January 25, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington Street with Pastor Ronnie Roberts officiating. Burial will take place at Kansas Veterans' Cemetery at 1 p.m. Visitation will be Sunday, January 24, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel. Beulah passed away at Geary Community Hospital on January 20, 2010. Memorial contributions may be given to the Sue Taylor Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 3430, Lawrence, KS 66044.

She was born June 16, 1936 Council Bluffs, IA to Frank and Sadie A (Collyer) Daymude. She married James M. Bolen on January 1, 1953.

Survivors include her husband James (Jim) of the home, two daughters, Terresa Bolen and Denise Boller both of Junction City, two sons, James R. Bolen and wife Kathy of Fresno, CA, Richard Bolen and wife Janet of Emporia, KS, ten grandchildren; Dawn Guthrie, Heidi Boller, Chad Boller, Mitch Boller, Richard Bolen, Christopher Bolen, Brandi Bolen, Russell Bolen, Brian Bolen and Katrina Bolen, six great-grandchildren; Taralyn Guthrie, Chris Bolen, Alyssa Bolen, Kevin Bolen, Richard Bolen and Malakai Bolen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, three sisters, a son Jeffrey and a daughter Pamela.

She worked at Big Bowl lanes for over 20 years and was an avid bowler until a few years ago. She enjoyed gardening and going to the Casino's. She was knows as a "Mom" & "Grandma" to everyone.

Pallbearers will be James R. Bolen, Richard E. Bolen, Chad Boller, Mitch Boller, Christopher Bolen & Richard E. Bolen, Jr.
