Amanda Kay Allen, 40, of Junction City, Kansas, passed away on December 2, 2018, in Salina, Kansas.

She was born on June 5, 1978, in Wamego, Kansas to Gary and Karen (Smith) Jaymes.

Amanda attended school in Manhattan, Kansas. She graduated from Manhattan High School class of 1997.

She was a loving wife, caring mother, adoring grandmother, beloved daughter and sister, and treasured friend. She brought happiness to all she knew. Amanda was very active in the church and put God first. She celebrated Him in everything she did. She was a talented photographer. She dedicated this passion to God. Her motto was "Catching your most precious memories for the glory of the Father". God guided her, and her family was her heart. This family extended beyond her immediate family and into her family in Christ. She shared her love through the Junction City Church of the Nazarene, JCNAZ, by being part of the ministry in many ways. She was part of the choir, youth ministries, and assisted her husband, Lee, with teaching Sunday school.

Amanda found love through God and the church. She married Lee Allen on May 9, 2015. They and their family resided in Junction City, Kansas.

To God be the glory. She is with Him.

Amanda is survived by her loving family: husband, Lee Cluster Allen of the home; two daughters, Elana Kay Jaymes-Coltharp and Mersadie Ann Jaymes both of Junction City, KS; son, Chance Elliott Allen of Junction City, KS; granddaughter, Emylie Kay Grace Jaymes-Coltharp; mother Karen Kay Smith (Willard Morgan) of Manhattan, KS; father Gary Don Jaymes of CO; three sisters, Jessica Darlene Beavers of Manhattan, KS, Melinda Jane (Danny) Joseph of Copperas Cove, TX, and Ella Jaymes of CO; three brothers, Jonathan Ray Jaymes, Micheal Alan Breault both of Manhattan, KS, and Will Jaymes of KS; and a host of loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 7, 2018, from 6:00 pm. to 8:00 pm. at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 203 N. Washington St., Junction City, KS.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2018, 12:00 pm. at the Junction City Church of the Nazarene, 1025 S. Washington St., Junction City, KS, with Pastor Mark Hatcher officiating. Cremation will follow the services.
